Information We Collect

If you submit a homeownership or volunteer application through this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever else you choose to share in the message field (household size for homeownership applications; areas of interest for volunteer sign-ups). We don’t collect anything beyond what those forms ask for.

How We Use It

Solely to respond to your application or volunteer sign-up and to keep our own records of who’s reached out. We don’t use it for marketing, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone.

Third-Party Services

A few outside services help us run this site, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe processes donations. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly.
• Resend sends us an email when an application comes in, so someone actually sees it.
• Our database and hosting providers store application submissions securely; they don’t use that data for anything of their own.
• The News page embeds videos from Habitat International’s YouTube channel. Playing one loads content from YouTube directly, which may set its own cookies per Google’s policies — outside our control, and nothing we can see.

Cookies & Tracking

We don’t run ad tracking or third-party analytics on this site. Any cookies you encounter come from the YouTube embeds mentioned above, not from us.

Your Rights

You can ask us to delete any information you’ve submitted at any time — reach out through the Contact page and we’ll take care of it.

If how we handle your information changes, we’ll update this page.
